Callie padded up to the handsome gray wolf standing in the large clearing. His blue eyes met her golden-brown ones and she felt weak under his gaze. Her head held low, she stopped when she was in front of him.
"Bone...." She whispered, her voice soft and quiet. "We shouldn't be here. You know how your packmates feel about dogs...! They hate me. What is your leader going to say when he finds out..??"
He shook his head and stepped toward her, his muzzle brushing hers lightly. Callie felt her heart race and she sighed at his gentle touch.
"Callie....I don't care what they think...!" He responded, staring deeply into her eyes. "I love you. All that matters to me is us. I.....I wont let my pack take what we have away from us." He murmured gently.
